Sink Mouldings, Grip Rims & Prong Strips
These profiles for the sink industry have seen a resurgence in recent years. They are typically manufactured with pre-coated Electro Galvanized, & Aluminized steel. Stainless Steel is also used. Material thicknesses are in the thin ranges of .024" through .048" thick. Spot Welding Dimples are provided inline, on many styles, with press fabrications or roller punches with close tolerances on size and location. Inline holes and shear formed tabs may also be provided. Lengths can be as short as 3" or as long as 4 feet with some customers preferring longer random lengths to be cut down later. Many standard, under the sink, styles are available, as Johnson Bros has been Roll Forming these items since the 1960`s. Some T styles of exposed sink trim are made in stainless with varying finishes and in straight, Ring and Frame form. Aluminum Grip Strip clips may be made from deeply rolled embossed or drawn grooves with holes. Sophisticated inline press fabricating and cutting operations, that accompany the roll former, use: accelerators, die boosts, Encoders, and the latest press Controllers for high accuracy.
Parts are produced to order and stock reserve only kept for large blanket order shipping releases. Existing samples may or may not be available. Prototypes for large orders are feasible.
