Johnson Bros. Shower Rods are made with the highest quality standards. Each standard Lock Seam Tube Shower Rod, is made from Polished Bright and Satin finish Stainless Steel as well as Brite Polished Aluminum. These finishes are applied onto our Shower Curtain Rods before our forming process. In addition to these special finishes, each Shower Curtain Rod has a protective clear or blue strippable PVC covering, which is removed easily just prior to installation, to protect the finish until it’s time to put the Shower Rod into use.

Our Bathroom Shower Rods have clean cut ends without a dimple or distortions. With clean cut ends there will be no visible denting seen on wall flanges at the ends, after installation. Incidentally, wall flanges are not provided with each Bathroom Shower Rod unless the quantity is high. Each Standard Brite Aluminum Polished Bathtub Shower Rod is manufactured with a .015" thickness, semi hardened, durable alloy. Each Standard Brite, Stainless, Bathroom Rod is produced from a .012" thick, Stainless Alloy.

Johnson Bros. can provide customized Shower Rods in superior stainless alloys of T304 or even T316, can be made into Bath Curtain Rods by special order at a higher expense. Thicknesses can be greater for stronger towel rods by special order for Stainless, Aluminum or in other Shower Rod materials. A lower priced alternative is a standard .014" thick Tin Plated steel with a Clear Painted Coating which we call a Simulated Chrome finish. Of course, this surface won’t last as long as Stainless and Aluminum but it is perfectly adequate for some applications as Mobile Homes or RVs. Other Painted Tin Plate colors can also be produced. Other materials used to manufacture Custom Shower Rods are: a more expensive laminated vinyl clad steel with White, Woodgrain, or other vinyl surfaces which can also be embossed to have a greater feel and look on Woodgrain, Leathergrain, or a wide variety of embossed finishes to choose from. This Vinyl Clad Tubing, will last a long time even with a steel base. The inside of these vinyl clad Shower Rods would have a painted surface.

Stainless Steel Shower Curtain Rods can be produced with many different finishes other than our standard brite finished 430 alloy. As an example, the stainless tubes can be produced with a strippable pvc coated satin finish or a painted stainless surface with your choice of color. Besides our standard brite finished Aluminum Rods, different finishes are also possible such as an extra protection Anodized finish in clear, brass and other colors. Painted Aluminum finishes may also be produced in your choice of color. Another alternative would be to have a Solid Brass or Plated Brass over Steel. Brass will always have a lacquered surface and pvc protective cover. Brass finishes can be Brite, Satin, Antiqued, Antique Satin as well as other finishes. Another option would be Chrome Plated Steel in Brite and Satin finishes and pvc protected.
